Our Roots
In 1996, Edilberto founded a church in his hometown of Bongabong, driven by faith and a mission to serve his community. He sought to share Christ’s transformative power and uplift the hardworking people of Mindoro. Though he has passed, his legacy thrives through ERF Christian Ministries, now five vibrant churches strong across Bongabong and beyond. They continue to empower the resilient farmers, fishermen, and families of this tight-knit community.
The Next Generation
Meet our family
AJ, the grandson of Edilberto, was born in the Philippines with a dream tucked deep in his heart — to one day return to the island where his father grew up and carry on the work his Lolo began in planting and nurturing churches. In 2020, a life-changing trip back to Mindoro brought that dream to life, sparking what has now become the mission of Bangon.
Today, AJ, together with his wife Megan and their son, joyfully serve side by side, following the Lord’s leading to strengthen the church and love the community, following in his Lolo's footsteps.
